THE BENEFITS OF THREAD LIFTS
What is a thread lift?
We’ve all been there and watched us grow old before our eyes. But it’s not easy to grasp the idea of a surgical facelift. Thread lifts give you all the benefits of being able to bring back the toned. Youthful face and neck you once had without the hassle of surgery. At R3 Medical Training Center, we wanted to find the least invasive way to bring the skin back to your youth. That is why R3 Medical now offers PDO threaded lifts.
The most visible signs of aging are around our face and neck. Our face structure is comprised of fat, which is upheld by the versatility of the skin and your bone construction. As we age, we lose the thick facial fat and bone density that we once had. The deficiency of fat and bone thickness prompts debilitating of the skin, bringing about the hanging off the eyes, cheeks, eyebrows, jaw, and obviously our neck. Fortunately, customers of our R3 Medical Training Center can age more elegantly with PDO thread lifts.
The R3 Medical Training Center offers a non-surgical facelift called a PDO thread lift. Thread lifting is a minimally invasive technique. It used to correct a sagging face by creating an instant lift to tighten the loose skin around the face and neck. Wire lifts are a great way for our customers to delay major operations.
Before you assume surgery is your only option, Dr. Greene everything you need to know about this safe, non-invasive procedure that is changing the way we treat sagging and aging skin.

How does the procedure to lift the cable work?
The DOP thread sewing technique uses Novathreads, which are absorbable polydioxanone (DOP) threads. Novathreads are 100% soluble and uses in a wide variety of surgical specialties for 50 years. These specialties range from cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, gynecological surgery to plastic surgery. The R3 Medical Training Center uses PDO threads to tighten the skin by triggering an inflammatory response that triggers the production of new collagen. The inflammatory response triggered by the threads can also cause fibrosis, causing the tissues to tighten. Cables are available in different strengths and lengths. Dr. Bonnie Marting D.N.P., A.N.R.P., will help her choose the right thread size for the type of enhancement she wants. When the sutures places correctly, patients immediately see loose facial skin and an overall improvement in the quality of skin turgor and tissue.
What parts of the body treated with PDO threads?
The skin of the body and face can be treated with PDO threads. When used on the face, DOP threads can strengthen the lips by reshaping the edges of the lips. It uses to brighten the eyes, relax the cheeks and cheeks, strengthen the neck, and even improve wrinkles around the eyes. These wires uses to accentuate the arch of the eyebrows. Dr. Bonnie can also place sutures around the nasolabial folds to naturally fill the impression.
Restores the V shape to the face
A beautiful, healthy face has a natural “V shape.” Due to age and gravity, the beautiful “V shape” can be reduced or reversed. Properly placed DOP threads support tissues and keep them in a “V-shape” or, if necessary, gently lift and reposition the skin to restore the “V-shape” in which it was lost.
How is the PDO thread lift procedure performed?
Prior to starting the PDO string lift technique, a skin sedative cream applies to the patient’s skin for 30 minutes. The treatment area is then cleaned with alcohol for anesthetic purposes. Next, Dr. Marting injects a small amount of lidocaine into the skin to numb the area where the PDO string will be inserted. The suture then inserts just below the surface of the skin and anchored in the tissue to lift and stretch the skin. The excess thread is then cut off. The whole process takes about 45 minutes, depending on the number of cables used.
How is the recovery?
Recovery from this minimally invasive procedure is short and easy. Patients may encounter growing and wound for a couple of days after the methodology. Patients can resume their daily activities immediately after treatment. But should avoid strenuous exercise for a week and facial massage for at least two weeks. Dr. Greene of the R3 Medical Training Center suggests that his patients sleep on their backs for the first four to five days after treatment.
