The 2023 Skincare Routine That Made Me Glow!

My Morning Face Wash

I begin every day with a long, therapeutic shower. I wet my face with warm water to open my pores, then use a gentle cleanser to scrub off residual dirt and oil. Once I’ve rinsed off the cleanser, I use an exfoliator to further enhance the shine I’m looking for. It washes away all of the dead skin cells that have accumulated on my face and helps the freshest layers shine!

Once I’m out of the shower and have dried off, I apply lip balm and an eye cream to keep the wrinkles away. I also use the perfect moisturizer for my skin type. When it comes to moisturizers, season matters a great deal—during the colder months, I use a heavier lotion, and during the warmer months, I use a lighter one. Either way, a good moisturizer keeps the skin fresh and glowing all day long!

Facial Rejuvenation with Serums and Creams

There are so many creams and serums to choose from, and all of them keep your skin looking young and healthy. There are even ones that specifically treat fine lines, dark circles, and dry patches. I prefer to use more than one cream at a time, though the choice is yours—everyone has their own particular needs, wants, and goals!

Facial rejuvenation is a major part of a good skincare routine. The term encompasses everything related to reducing signs of aging, including wrinkles, dark spots, and droopy skin. Some of the most common facial rejuvenation treatments include lotions, creams, laser treatments, Botox, and even newer surgical techniques like a deep plane facelift. The options are practically limitless.

Facial rejuvenation is all about finding the right treatments for you!

Remember to Apply SPF

One important thing that most people overlook is applying sunscreen. It is absolutely vital to protect your skin from the damaging effects of UV rays, which can cause an array of issues from sunspots to cancer. Many people think that they don’t need to use sunscreen when it’s cloudy, but this is simply not the case. The same goes during the winter months—the sun is still strong, and its UV rays are just as harmful for your skin!

The key is to find the right SPF level for your skin. Typically, I wear SPF 50, though sometimes I’ll go as high as 60. Remember, though, that the higher the SPF value, the harsher the effect on particularly sensitive skin!

Say Bye to Blemishes with Spot Treatments

Spot treatments are perfect for clearing breakouts before they cause acne scarring. They’re also great if you have excess oil on your skin and need to get rid of it quickly!

Before bed, I always do a quick face wash to clean off any dirt that might have accumulated throughout the day. Then, after drying, I apply spot treatment to any areas where I notice redness or blemishes. Finally, I use a drying cream instead of a liquid one so that my face doesn’t feel wet and keep me from sleeping well.

Don’t forget to wash your face before spot treatment, or you’ll completely defeat the purpose!

Keep Your Skin Healthy with the Right Vitamins

It’s important to take the right vitamins every day. Many dermatologists recommend using Vitamin B3 to strengthen the skin and fight pigmentation issues. Vitamin A is another essential choice, keeping the skin taut and healthy. Omega-3 fatty acids are also great for maintaining skin elasticity and giving you a radiant glow.

There are so many vitamins out there, each of which does something special for the body. It may be a bit difficult to keep track of them all at first, but if you speak to a dermatologist and create a list, you’ll be able to make a routine that incorporates all sorts of important supplements. Your skin will thank you!

In my experience, Vitamins A, B3, and C work best for me. Zinc and Omega-3 supplements also work wonders, and I recommend using them in your skincare regimen. You won’t regret it!
