How to reach :

  • By air – Book your flight from Delhi to Dehradun Jolly Grant Airport. You are ready for your trek, after hiring a cab or going to a bus to the Sankri village.
  • Book a train to Dehradun Rail Station by train. You will arrive at the Himalayan Garhwal once at Dehradun station by hiring a taxi to the settlement of Sankri.
  • On the way to the Garhwal Range is Delhi, but the other northern areas of India also can be accessed by the Kedarkantha Walk.

Things to carry :

For your journey, you should bring these things with you.

Three or three pairs of pants and warm clothing are required.
A walk-through shoe for snow.

A flexible stick, a battery torch, a portable mobile phone charger and an umbrella.

Bring your energy on your journey to two 1- litre water bottles and dry snacks.

You should take the right medicines before you go trekking on the Kedarkantha trip as suggested by a doctor.

Best time to visit :

The Kedarkantha Trek can be visited from July to October, but damp and gloomy in July and August. It is best to visit greenery everywhere if you are going in summers from May to June.

The Complete Guide To Kedarkantha Trek

The Kedarkantha Trek provides you with an overview of the mountain peaks covered with snow and of the oak and pine trees which swings heads over to the wonderful rhythm of the mountain breeze. Kedarkantha trekking is a 4-5-day trip through steep and snow-covered mountain trails, in total. From the summit of the Cedarkantha, the Chansil Pass and the Kailash Summits you may also overlook the Holy Sites of Gangotri, Yamunotri. Then you go down to Hargaon to make your trip to Kedarkantha a stopover.

Fitness

The Kedarkantha walk is simple to medium walk. You should take this adventure physically and mentally.
