  • Cleaning the spots can also be done by using baby wipes for any headstrong marks. If the marks need more rubbing, use any detergent liquid. Rub the surface with this liquid using a brush and wipe it off with a clean cloth.
  • The spots can also be cleaned using baking soda. The ratio of mixing is one portion of water with two parts of baking soda. This mixture forms a paste-like structure. After 12 hours, the mixture can be removed easily with the help of a brush.
  • Ballet shoes sometimes have a bad odour. To prevent bad smells, one can put a spoon of baking soda into each of the shoes.
  • After cleaning the ballet shoes with a clean cloth, sometimes the shine on the shoes might disappear. The best way to bring that shine back is to dab vaseline or put some nail polish that matches the colour of the ballet shoes. Leather nail polish is available in various departmental stores.
